Getting the H endorsement in Florida
In Florida the hazmat endorsement is added to a CDL you already hold, or to one you are applying for, through the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. There is no skills test for hazmat — you pass the written test at the FLHSMV and the H goes on the licence.
